Cancellation policy
Some items in our store may be available as subscriptions, pre-orders, or try-before-you-buy offers.
This policy explains how you can modify or cancel these types of purchases.
1. Subscriptions
When you subscribe to Chromatic Coffee, you’ll receive fresh, repeat deliveries of roasted coffee at the duration and frequency you select.

Billing and renewals:
Your payment information will be stored securely, and you’ll be charged automatically for each scheduled shipment unless you’ve prepaid for a specific duration.
Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of the term. If you don’t wish to renew, you can cancel at any time before your next billing date. -
Managing your subscription:
You can modify, skip, pause, or cancel your subscription anytime using the “Manage Subscription” link in your order confirmation or account page.
Changes made after a renewal has processed will apply to the next cycle. -
Roasting schedule notice:
Because we roast coffee fresh for each subscription, cancellations made after roasting or fulfillment has begun will apply to the following order, not the current one. -
Returns and refunds:
Subscription orders follow our Return & Refund Policy. Fresh coffee, once roasted or opened, cannot be returned.
2. Pre-Orders
Occasionally we offer pre-orders for limited releases, small-batch coffees, or seasonal gear not yet in stock.

Payment and fulfillment:
Depending on the product, we may collect either no payment or a partial deposit at checkout and securely store your payment method. The full or remaining balance will be charged automatically once your order is ready to ship. -
Cancellations:
You may cancel a partially paid pre-order any time before it has been roasted or fulfilled.
Once roasting or fulfillment has begun, the order cannot be canceled, but you may contact info@chromaticcoffee.mom for assistance regarding a refund or exchange (subject to our Return & Refund Policy). -
Pre-order timing:
Estimated ship dates are subject to change based on harvest arrivals, production schedules, and logistics.
3. Try-Before-You-Buy
From time to time, we may offer “try-before-you-buy” programs — such as sampler sets, brew gear trials, or curated tasting boxes.

Authorization and trial period:
Your payment method will be authorized but not charged immediately. You’ll have a specified trial window to decide whether you’d like to keep the item. -
After the trial:
If you choose to keep it (or do not return it within the stated timeframe), your payment method will automatically be charged the full amount.
If you return the item within the trial period in unused, resalable condition, your authorization will be voided or refunded. -
Eligibility:
Try-before-you-buy offers are available only for select products, such as apparel or gear — not for roasted coffee.
